Role Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to support end-to-end financial operations — from accounting and compliance to MIS reporting and international payments. The role involves ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial processes, while enabling business teams with data-driven insights and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, expense tracking, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate books of accounts in Zoho Books or similar systems.
2. Financial Reporting & MIS
Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports, cash flow statements, P&L summaries, and management dashboards.Assist leadership with budget tracking, variance analysis, and cost control insights.3. Vendor, Client & Overseas Payments Management
Handle invoicing, receivables tracking, and payment follow-ups with domestic and international clients.Process vendor payments, reimbursements, and manage overseas transfers in line with FEMA and RBI norms.Maintain up-to-date documentation for all foreign remittance and forex-related transactions.4. Compliance : Taxation, GST, PF & Statutory
Ensure accurate calculation, filing, and reconciliation for GST, TDS, and Income Tax.Handle PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances for payroll.Coordinate with CA partners and consultants for timely returns and assessments.5. Audit, Documentation & Record Management
Prepare audit schedules, support statutory and internal audits, and ensure proper documentation.Maintain digital and physical records for all financial and compliance documents.6. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning Support
Assist in annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.Monitor actuals vs. planned spend, highlight deviations, and support cost optimization initiatives.7. Process, Systems & Governance
Drive improvements in financial workflows, approvals, and reporting systems.Support automation tools for expense management, invoicing, and financial control.Qualifications & Skills
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.3–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, and compliance management.Strong understanding of GST, TDS, PF, and statutory tax frameworks.Experience handling international payments and foreign remittances.Proficiency in Zoho Books and Excel.High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work under tight timelines.Prior experience in a startup, SaaS, or B2B tech environment is a strong plus.What We Offer
