Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies and plans for Testing, identifying Test scope, Risks and priorities.. Test Team Management, Test execution and Monitoring, Defect Management, Communication and Stakeholder Management, Process improvement would be the primarily responsibilities in this role.
Key Responsibilities Strategy
Develop a detailed testing strategy that outlines the approach for testing the migrated applications. This includes defining the types of tests to be conducted (functional, performance, security, etc.) and the tools and techniques to be used.Business
Should possess strong understanding of Software Testing MethodologiesSoftware Testing Methodologies - Good understanding of software testing methodologies and alignment according to Business ApplicationsExperience with Test Automation Frameworks and toolsFamiliarity with ADO and proficient in testing toolsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong Problem-solving and Analytical skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and quality focusProcesses
Test Planning and Strategy
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for application migration.Define test objectives, scope, and criteria for success.Test Case Development
Design and develop test cases based on requirements and specifications.Ensure test coverage for all functional and non-functional aspects of the application.Execution and Reporting
Execute test cases and document results.Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.Provide detailed and timely reports on testing progress and results.Automation
Develop and maintain automated test scripts.Integrate automated tests into the CI / CD pipeline.Performance Testing
Conduct performance, load, and stress testing.Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvements.Compliance and Quality Assurance :
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Maintain high standards of quality and reliability throughout the migration process.Continuous Improvement
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.People & Talent
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectivesRisk Management
Conduct a thorough risk assessment to identify potential issues that could arise during the migration and testing phases. Develop mitigation plans to address these risks.Governance
