Role overview - IRDA Compliance :
"The IRDA Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization fully complies with all regulatory requirements laid down by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI). The role involves monitoring regulatory updates, preparing mandatory reports, coordinating audits, and ensuring adherence to compliance frameworks across all insurance operations."
Role and responsibilities :
- Ensure adherence to all IRDAI regulations, guidelines, and circulars.
- Prepare and submit mandatory IRDAI reports and regulatory filings on time.
- Monitor regulatory updates and implement required process changes.
- Conduct internal compliance checks and support audits / inspections.
- Maintain compliance documentation and ensure AML / KYC adherence.
- Coordinate with internal teams to address compliance gaps and queries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, Finance, Insurance, or related field.2–5 years of experience in IRDAI compliance, regulatory affairs, or insurance operations (based on level).Strong understanding of IRDAI regulations, circulars, and reporting frameworks.
