Job Title : Proposal Engineer Mechanical

Experience : 3 years in Proposal Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronics)

Location : Mumbai India

Education : Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering

Role Overview :

The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals understanding customer requirements responding to technical queries and supporting product promotion activities. The role focuses on mechanical products such as bearings vibration equipment regulators filters and other engineering components. This position requires strong technical knowledge customer engagement skills and the ability to manage the proposal cycle from RFQ to order finalization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare proposals for mechanical products including bearings blocks belts vibration equipment and related engineering components.
• Identify current and future customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Respond to customer technical queries and participate in online technical discussions or meetings.
• Understand customer engineering needs and provide accurate product recommendations.
• Apply adaptation and application-based selling strategies based on customer RFQs.
• Promote products through professional email communication.
• Thoroughly review bid documents and prepare complete competitive bid packages.
• Perform regular follow-ups on submitted bids until order closure.
• Prepare weekly monthly and annual sales reports.
• Provide feedback to management regarding competition market trends and product needs.
