About the Role : As a Category Specialist for HVDC Control & Protection category, you will play a key role in developing and executing category strategies that align with HVDC Business Strategies, while ensuring compliance with corporate purchasing policies.

Responsibilities :

Develop our Supplier base within your Categories for Control & Protection MACH Cubicles, PCBAs, and other Electrical Products.

Design and implement supplier strategies using market, cost, and risk analyses.

Ensure supplier compliance with laws, regulations, standards, and directives required by Hitachi Energy.

Secure material procurement for production plants.

Support the development and implementation of regional / global sourcing strategies.

Drive supplier development for Cabinet Integration, including identification and business case preparation.

Conduct supplier financial and commercial analysis, risk review, and collaboration with Engineering & Supplier Quality.

Drive RFQ and negotiation for projects, focusing on TCO, quality, lead time, and capacity.

Interact with stakeholders in tender and project execution across various levels.

Onboard new suppliers and conduct regular supplier evaluations.

Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications :

Degree in B.E. (Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication), Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.

10 to 14 years of experience in Category Management, Sourcing strategy, Global Sourcing, NPD, Project management, or Procurement.

Required Skills :

Knowledge in Control & Protection MACH Cubicle Integrations and PCBAs Assemblies.

Strong collaborative skills and ability to interact with others.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a multicultural and challenging global business environment.

Energetic, motivated, and self-confident personality.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience in HVDC Control & Protection MACH Cubicle Integrations and PCBAs Assemblies.
