Basic Functions :

Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, the United States’ largest recycler and largest

manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of a Lead

Engineer at our business unit located in New Delhi. Duties of the successful candidate include but are not limited to the following :

Performing as an active contributor to the NTS leadership team strategy

Providing mentoring, coaching and accountability of their team through performance reviews

Maintaining manpower requirements through proper staffing, training, and development of team while coordinating individual work schedules with production requirements

Assuring consistent application of current design policies, procedures, and practices

Developing and maintaining NTS design standards to be applied across our organization

Providing world class service to our internal & external customers by meeting their needs quickly and effectively

Partnering with division leadership and other departments to drive continuous improvement

Supporting business development through customer and specifier interaction promoting Nucor’s value proposition while cultivating deeper relationships

Minimum Qualifications :

Able to communicate in English

Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree (civil, structural, mechanical, or related field) fro an ABET accredited institution

Registered Chartered or Professional Engineer

Minimum of 3 years of Leadership experience in the design of steel structures

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in the design of steel monopole structures used for transmission and distribution

Master of Science in Engineering degree (civil, structural, mechanical, or related field)
