Job descriptionOversee the design and engineering of electrical and mechanical systems for elevated stations and depots Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate E&M systems with other aspects of station and depot design Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and address any engineering issues Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in transportation infrastructure design Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required Minimum of 25 years of total experience and minimum 7 years' experience in design and engineering of elevated stations and depots, with a focus on E&M systems Proven expertise in electrical and mechanical systems for transportation infrastructure Strong leadership skills with experience managing large-scale engineering projects Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to transportation infrastructure Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred Experience with sustainable design practices and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
