TCS Hiring for Cisco Voice Engineer
Job Location : Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad
Experience Range : 5-8 Years
Job Description :
- Good technical knowledge and troubleshooting, configuration, and administration skills to manage the Production environment on Voice IPT Infrastructure.
- Good exposure in Cisco IPT, - implementation / troubleshooting experience.
- Need a clear understanding of VOIP protocols like SIP, SCCP, H.323 and MGCP Ability to analyze and troubleshoot call flows.
- Analyze, design, implement and provide support of unified communication, voice, and network solutions, including multi-service network infrastructure Experience on SBC and integration with Zoom / Ribbon.
- Troubleshooting knowledge on Cisco Phone issue (i.e., one way audio issue, Call quality issue, Call preservation mode) Troubleshooting knowledge on Voicemail issue (i.e., MWI indication not working, Email notification not working)
- Troubleshooting knowledge on Certificate related issues for all unified servers (i.e., Renew the SSL certificate)
- Troubleshooting knowledge on Voicemail issue (i.e., MWI indication not working, Email notification not working)
- Troubleshooting of voice interfaces : FXS, FXO, and ISDN, T1 / E1 PRI Identifying the reason for the outage and coordinating with ITSP / Carrier / Client / Vendor for an immediate restoration Managing and troubleshooting call routing issues such as Numbering Plans, Calling Privileges, etc.
- H / W Maintenance activity for hardware installation, troubleshooting and fixing hardware issues Troubleshoot CUCM, and all UC related problems.
- Implementing, configuring, and maintaining Avaya voice and data communication systems like Avaya Aura and IP Office.
- Key tasks involve troubleshooting issues, performing system upgrades and maintenance, and collaborating with other teams to ensure system reliability and meet client needs.
Responsibilities :
Provide Tier 2 / 3 support for Voice-related issues.Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice quality issues, including layer 2 and layer 3 issues.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding network status and issues.H / W Maintenance activity for hardware installation, troubleshooting and fixing hardware issues.Collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure teams and client services teamsPerform root cause analysis and resolve voice incidents.
