Procurement Specialist

Position – AVP OR VP – Procurement Data centre

Reporting to – Head Procurement Data centre

Experience - 10+years in Procurement - Data center Projects

Education - BE / B Tech - Civil - Mechanical - Electrical

Requirement –

• The Procurement Buyer supports the sourcing and procurement of infrastructure materials and services for data centre construction
• Cost Savings : reduction in procurement costs through negotiation, strategic sourcing, or vendor consolidation.
• Budget Adherence : Variance between actual spend and budgeted spend for infrastructure procurement.
• Must have prior experience in procurement of large core & shell civil contracts preferably from data centres
• Must have prior experience in procurement of precast, cast in situ and steel structures more than 5 lacs sqft single structure respectively
• Should be able to read the architectural civil drawings
• Knowledge about building codes, sustainability, major requirements of building certifications
• Excellent knowledge of sourcing of RMC, steel, cement, advance framing, shuttering systems,
• Vendor eco system management
• Identify, evaluate and engage with high value strategic partners, global general contractors and niche vendors in civil industry
• Lead commercial negotiations, price discussions and contract f inalization with a focus on TCO and flexibility
• Establish vendor scorecards and feedback loops for ongoing performance management
• Should have hands on experience in doing rate analysis for major items from MEP fitout packages
• Develop alternate supplier strategies to mitigate risks and ensure continuity
• This role requires that projects are delivered within budget, financial risks are minimized, and resources are optimally allocated.

• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Excellent in MS excel, MS power point & email etiquette Qualifications & Skills :
• Education :
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in civil engineering
• Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, NICMAR) are a plus
