Skills : Data Engineering (8 Years), Data Build Tool (DBT – Recent 2 Years)

JD : Looking for a Data Engineering Lead with extensive experience in ETL and Data Pipeline development. Must have recent hands-on experience in DBT for data transformations and modeling. Proficiency in SQL and modern data stack tools is essential

Key Responsibilities :

• Architecture & Strategy : Design, build, and own our DBT project architecture. Define and implement standards for modeling, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Technical Leadership : Lead, mentor, and coach a team of data analysts and engineers in DBT best practices. Conduct code reviews and foster a culture of excellence.
• Own the Core Platform : Manage and optimize our DBT Cloud / CLI environment, CI / CD pipelines, and integration with Snowflake / BigQuery / etc.
• Drive Efficiency : Implement and advocate for software engineering best practices in our data stack (version control, modular code, testing, and documentation).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analytics engineers to understand requirements and deliver robust, scalable data models.
