Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled User Support Developer for a 6-month contractual role. The ideal candidate will have 3- 4 years of experience and be proficient in Java (Spring Boot), Python, and SQL scripting. In this role, you will support internal users, troubleshoot backend issues, and maintain or develop support tools to ensure smooth operation of business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the first point of contact for user support issues related to internal applications and backend systems.Analyze, debug, and resolve incidents by writing or modifying SQL scripts, or by making code-level changes when required.Develop and maintain small utilities, tools, or scripts using Python or Java (Spring Boot) to assist with issue resolution and automation.Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams for escalations and longterm fixes.Write and maintain support documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base entries for recurringissues.
Monitor logs and application metrics to proactively identify and address potential issues.Provide timely communication and resolution updates to stakeholders and users.Required Skills and Experience :
3 - 4 years of experience in application support or backend development roles.Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Python.Strong command of SQL - including query writing, data analysis, and troubleshooting.Good understanding of REST APIs and backend workflows.Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.Familiarity with issue tracking and support tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Nice to Have :
Exposure to Linux / Unix shell scripting.Experience with monitoring / logging tools (e.g., Kibana, Grafana, ELK Stack).Familiarity with CI / CD tools and processes.ref : hirist.tech)
