Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing automation frameworks, scripting, and testing tools to improve product quality and accelerate software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines with integration of automated test suites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated scripts and provide support during test execution.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure code quality, reusability, and maintainability across all automation efforts.
  • Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in test automation development.
  • Strong programming / scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or REST Assured.
  • Proficiency in writing automation scripts for UI, API, and database testing.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, etc.
  • Good understanding of Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience working with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, etc.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is advantageous.

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
