Key Responsibilities
1. Client and Business Leadership
- Act as a strategic technology partner to global clients, translating business needs into scalable engineering solutions.
- Engage with CXOs and senior stakeholders to influence technology roadmaps and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Ensure consistent delivery excellence, customer satisfaction (CSAT / NPS), and revenue retention / growth across accounts.
2. Engineering and Delivery Excellence
Oversee multi-technology software services delivery spanning product engineering, digital transformation, cloud, and data solutions.Implement robust delivery governance, agile practices, and quality assurance frameworks across programs.Drive operational efficiency, margin improvement, and on-time, on-budget project execution.3. Capability Building and Innovation (GOOD TO HAVE)
Lead the creation and scaling of new technology capabilities aligned with market trends (AI / ML, Cloud, Data Engineering, DevOps, etc.).Establish Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and innovation programs to upskill teams and strengthen technical depth.Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and engineering craftsmanship.4. Talent and Organizational Leadership
Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering organization (500+ professionals across geographies).Build leadership pipelines, succession planning, and competency frameworks to scale for growth.Drive organizational culture focused on performance, innovation, and customer success.5. Strategic and Financial Accountability
Own P&L for engineering and delivery units, ensuring profitability, utilization, and account growth.Partner with sales, solutions, and strategy teams to support pre-sales, solution design, and proposal development.Contribute to strategic planning, technology investments, and annual business goals.Key Requirements
Experience : 17+ years in software services or technology consulting, with at least 5+ years in senior engineering or delivery leadership roles.Domain : Experience leading technology delivery for enterprise clients across industries (preferably BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing).Scale Exposure : Managed delivery portfolios of USD 20M+ and engineering teams of 500+ professionals.Technical Breadth : Deep understanding of modern software architectures, cloud platforms, DevOps, and emerging tech trends.Client Orientation : Proven track record in client engagement, account expansion, and executive stakeholder management.Leadership Style : Strategic thinker with operational rigor, strong people leadership, and collaborative influencing ability.Education : Bachelor’s / master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).Success Metrics
