Job description5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally with engineering-heavy roles. Comfortable evaluating candidates across mechanical, electrical, CAD / CAE, hardware, or adjacent domains. Strong sourcing skills and an eye for non-traditional or high-potential talent. Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. Experience in working with fast paced startups is a plus Help build a world-class India team shaping the future of AI for engineering. Work closely with experts across AI, CAD / CAE, design, and product development. Make a major impact in a fast-moving, ambitious research lab.
About the Role
General Agents is building advanced AI systems for engineering, design, and product development. To support our growing India team, we’re looking for a Technical Recruiter who can lead hiring across mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, simulation, CAD / CAE, and related domains. You’ll help us find exceptional engineers who can push the boundaries of autonomous design and engineering intelligence.
What You’ll Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles across India.
- Build pipelines for mechanical, electrical, simulation, CAD / CAE, and hardware-adjacent talent.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define requirements and hiring plans.
- Run sourcing strategies, outreach, screening, and candidate experience.
- Maintain a high talent bar while ensuring fairness, clarity, and strong communication.
- Represent General Agents authentically to candidates and the engineering community.
