We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Oracle Database Technical Lead to manage delivery and operations for multiple BFSI and enterprise clients under our managed services model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Oracle DBAs supporting multiple BFSI clients in 24x7 support and project-based engagements
- Own and govern database delivery across L1–L3 operations (incidents, performance tuning, patching, upgrades, security hardening)
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, ITIL processes, and RBI / SEBI regulatory norms for database management
- Act as the technical escalation point for critical issues and bridge between DBA team, account managers, and client stakeholders
- Assist in capacity planning, high availability design (RAC, DG), backup / recovery strategy (RMAN), and change control governance
- Contribute to automation initiatives using Ansible, Python, or Shell scripting
- Review and approve architecture and migration plans (on-prem to cloud, version upgrades, RAC to non-RAC, etc.)
Technical Skill Set Required
7+ years of Oracle DBA experience (11g, 12c, 19c, preferably certified)Strong expertise in :
Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, GoldenGate (preferred)RMAN, AWR / ASH reports, OEM, SQL Tuning AdvisorUnix / Linux Shell scriptingPatching, cloning, upgrades, space managementExperience with managing multiple client environments concurrentlyKnowledge of cloud deployments (AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or Azure for Oracle)Familiarity with DR drills, BCP / DR strategy validation, and audit compliance documentation
