Head – Land Revenue & Compliance / Liaison Officer

Apeksha Group is seeking a highly experienced Head – Land Revenue & Compliance (Liaison Officer) to lead our land governance, official record management, and statutory coordination for all real estate projects.
This role is crucial in ensuring legal clarity, transparent documentation, and smooth execution of all land-related processes across the company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Land Records Management
Maintain and safeguard complete land ownership records, including cadastral maps, plot details, area, and usage classification (residential / commercial / agricultural).
2. Mutation & Record Updates
Handle all mutation entries arising from sale, inheritance, lease, or transfer of land to ensure legally recognized property rights.
3. Land Measurement & Demarcation
Coordinate and remain present during physical surveys, boundary demarcations, and land measurements to avoid discrepancies or disputes.
4. Ownership & Title Verification
Support due diligence by verifying land titles, ownership history, Jamabandi, and other statutory documents.
5. Dispute Resolution
Assist in resolving land-related issues, encroachments, and boundary disputes by liaising with legal teams and government authorities.
6. Coordination with Government Departments
Act as the primary liaison with revenue offices, tehsildar, patwari, SDM office, and other agencies for approvals, corrections, permissions, and entries.
7. Revenue & Tax Handling
Oversee the assessment and collection of land revenue, irrigation dues, and property taxes, ensuring compliance with government norms.
8. Documentation Support for Transactions
Provide accurate and updated land information to project, legal, and sales teams before finalizing any purchase, development, or sale transaction.
Ideal Candidate Profile
8–15 years of experience in land revenue, patwari / tehsil coordination, or real estate land acquisition.
Strong understanding of revenue records, Jamabandi, Girdawari, registry processes, and local land laws.
Excellent liaisoning skills with govt. departments.
Proven experience handling land disputes, mutations, and compliance.
Strong documentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
