Job Summary : The Export FMCG Lead Generation & E-Commerce Executive is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and generating international leads for FMCG export business through online platforms, B2B portals, and digital channels. The role involves managing e-commerce operations, engaging with global buyers, responding to inquiries, and supporting the company’s export growth through structured lead development and market research.
Key Responsibilities : 1. Lead Generation & Market Research Generate high-quality international leads for FMCG exports through B2B platforms such as Alibaba, Indiamart, ExportersIndia, TradeIndia, and other global portals.
Conduct market research to identify potential importers, distributors, traders, supermarkets, wholesalers, and retailers in target countries.
Analyze global market trends, buyer preferences, and competitive pricing.
2. E-Commerce & B2B Portal Management Handle day-to-day operations of e-commerce accounts and B2B export portals.
Upload product listings, optimize product descriptions, and update pricing.
Respond to buyer inquiries professionally and convert inquiries into sales opportunities.
3. International Communication & Coordination Communicate with international clients via email, WhatsApp, Zoom, and phone.
Share product catalogs, technical specifications, price lists, and export documentation details.
Maintain strong follow-up with interested buyers to achieve conversions.
4. Sales Support & Documentation Coordinate with export, logistics, and production teams to collect necessary export documents (PI, COA, packing list, HS codes, etc.).
Assist in preparing quotations, Proforma Invoices, and contractual documents for foreign buyers.
Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, and sales status.
5. Digital Marketing Support Support the digital marketing team in promoting FMCG export products on social media and marketplace platforms.
Suggest marketing ideas to increase online visibility and global reach.
6. Reporting & CRM Management Maintain a detailed database of potential and active buyers.
Prepare weekly and monthly lead reports and submit performance updates to management.
Skills & Qualifications Required : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.
Strong knowledge of FMCG products, export markets, and e-commerce platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience with B2B portals such as Alibaba, Indiamart, TradeIndia, and Global Sources preferred.
Strong research skills and ability to identify potential buyers worldwide.
Basic knowledge of export procedures, documentation, shipping terms (Incoterms), and international trade.
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and email communication.
