Location- Mumbai.

Experience- 10 – 20 Years

Job Responsibilities :

Perform design activities for offshore pipelinesin all phases of the project (fromConcept design to Execution phase) in collaboration within the pipelineteam.

Provide specialist skills,integrity and knowledgein key area of subsea pipeline engineering, including design codes andcurrent best engineering practices.

Produce and check deliverables, which may include :

Design calculations

Mechanical Design Calculation

Free Span and Span Correction

On Bottom Stability

Fatigue Calculation

Seismic Analysis

Upheaval and LateralBuckling

Progress reports

Alignment Sheet

Plot Plan

Approach Drawing

Cathodic Protection

Installation Engineering

Various third-party submissions

Jumper and Spooldesign

Hydraulic Analysis : Steady State

Transient Modelling

Stress Analysisin CASER II including seismicanalysis

Buckling Analysisin ABAQUS

Reviewing / Producing Materialspecification :

Line pipe

Induction Bends

Fittings

Coating

Valves

Attend design review meetings, Engineering Interface meetings etc. with Clients / Contractors, as required.

Liaise with pipeline designersproviding required input for pipelinedrawings.

Essential Skillsand Knowledge :

Proficiency in listed design and analysis software is essential

Pipeline Studio (Good to have)

Hysys (Good to have)

Good knowledge of subsea pipelineengineering, including industrystandard codes like ASME B31.4,31.8 / API codes etc.

Relevant engineering experience within the oil and gas industry, especially subsea pipelines

Working knowledgeof hydraulic modelling softwareis considered advantage

A committed team player able to workon own initiative with minimumsupervision

B. E / B. Tech Mechanical / Civil Engineering

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in design and analyses of Subsea Pipelinesin Oil & Gas industry.

Experience in industry accepted Design / Analysis software packages for Pipeline Design

Conversant with applicable DNV, ASME, BS, API and other relevant International Codes / Standards for subsea pipeline design and engineering.

Attend design review meetings, Engineering Interface meetings etc. with Clients / Contractors, as required.

Liaise with pipeline designers providing required input for pipeline drawings.
