Perform accounting for various transactions of the business and ensure they are properly accounted for and accurately reflected in the financial statements

Analyze financial data and use independent judgment for purposes of identifying variances, when possible resolving accounting operating system issues, compiling statistical information and developing procedures to improve current processes

Research a wide variety of financial topics in order to provide information or recommendations that impact the organizations operations

Responsible for general ledger entries, reconciliations and financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and practices

Conform and adhere to internal controls over accounting procedures as set forth by upper management

Interfaces frequently with various levels within the organization

Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance Preferred

General Ledger Accounting and reconciliation experience in a corporate environment

Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office products ( Word and Outlook)

Ability to multi-task and complete projects within specific deadlines

High level of Excel skills

Experience completing detailed accounting schedules

Strong computer, presentation and organizational skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Detail oriented with excellent time management skill
