Position : Senior Design Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer

Location - Chennai

Experience : 8-12 Years

Role & responsibilities : The Solar Engineer is responsible for providing innovative and comprehensive solutions in design engineering for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects. The incumbent shall work in a collaborative, team-based environment. - Working closely with Sales or BDT to offer best solution for each project. - Model & simulate in PVSyst (or) Helioscope, design and Engineering of PV plants. - Single line diagrams, Interconnection drawings, Solar field optimized layouts, Technical Specification preparation. - Technical Bid evaluation for Grid connected Solar plant. - Lead internal Operations team throughout project development and implementation. - Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to collect the developments and improvement in Solar PV space. - Assist Performance Assurance group with system performance monitoring. Preferred candidate profile - Education : Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. - Experience : Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in design engineering for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects with a focus on electrical design and grid integration. - Should have experience in Single line diagrams, Interconnection drawings, Solar field optimized layouts, Technical Specification preparation. - Should have experience in Power evacuation - Understanding of Project Management function is must Technical Skills : - Proficiency in design and simulation software (e.G., Pvsyst or helioscope ).
