🚀 Hiring : QA Automation Engineer (Selenium + API | Java | RestAssured) only for immediate joiner

📍 Location : Bengaluru / Hybrid

🕓 Experience : 5–8 years

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium (Java) and API automation using RestAssured .

The ideal candidate will have solid experience designing scalable automation frameworks, integrating with CI / CD pipelines, and ensuring end-to-end quality in Agile environments.

💼 Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks (POM, Data-Driven, Hybrid).
Build and execute API automation scripts using RestAssured , Postman , or similar tools.
Develop reusable test utilities, functions, and maintainable scripts for scalability.
Automate tests across Web , API , and Mobile layers.
Integrate test suites with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Participate in Agile ceremonies — stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and DevOps teams to ensure quality delivery.
Analyze test failures, debug automation scripts, and perform root cause analysis .
Manage test data, environment configurations , and generate reports (Extent / Allure).
Mentor team members on automation practices and conduct code reviews .

🧠 Technical Skills Required :

Automation Tools :

Selenium WebDriver (Java)

TestNG / Cucumber / JUnit for test orchestration

RestAssured for API automation

Exposure to Playwright / Cypress (advantage)

Appium for mobile automation (basic to intermediate)

Programming :

Strong in Core Java (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling, File I / O)

Skilled in synchronization (explicit / fluent waits) and dynamic element handling

Experience designing frameworks ( POM , Hybrid, Data-driven)

Basic JavaScript / TypeScript knowledge (for Playwright / Cypress)

DevOps / CI-CD :

Jenkins pipeline setup and scheduling

Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket for version control

Docker / Selenium Grid for distributed execution

Reporting & Tools :

Extent Reports, Allure, or ReportNG

Maven / Gradle build tools

JIRA / Azure DevOps for bug tracking and Agile workflows

🔄 Process Knowledge :

Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology

Familiar with story estimation, sprint deliverables, and Definition of Done (DoD)

Experience with test management tools (Zephyr, Xray, TestRail, etc.)
