As a Principal Sales Consultant, you will serve as an expert in formulating and leading presales technical and functional support activities for prospective clients and customers, while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will act as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants, focusing on large or complex sales opportunities that require creative and sophisticated solutions. You will develop productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants, and deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. You will lead all aspects of the technical sales process and advise both internal and external clients on comprehensive architected solutions.
You will also :
- Lead customer engagements from the perspective of Oracle Technology solutions, covering both on-premise and cloud (IaaS and PaaS), with the ability to work across lines of business such as systems, database technologies, and applications.
- Build cohesive relationships with customers, including senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Respond to customer requests for proposals, providing commercially astute answers to solution and product questions to aid in their selection of new products or solutions.
- Develop custom demos and POCs for specific customer opportunities.
- Deliver product training to partners both in the classroom and via the web.
- Answer pre-sales technical questions about Oracle’s products and solutions.
- Dedicate a significant portion of your time to staying up-to-date on the latest product releases and Oracle’s strategy, through self-study, online learning, or classroom training as appropriate.
Technical Requirements :
12+ years of relevant work experience.Proficient in Oracle Technology solutions, including database, engineered systems, middleware, and security solutions.Current experience in an IT-related role (presales consultant, middleware implementation, technical support, consulting, or development).Solid understanding of architecture, with knowledge of IaaS and PaaS.Eagerness to learn—Oracle has a broad and ever-growing portfolio of industry-leading products.
