Proofreader – Academic Books Review

We are seeking a detail-oriented and academically sound Proofreader to review educational books for Grades 1 to 7. The ideal candidate will ensure that all written content meets curriculum-based learning goals, maintains accuracy, and uses age-appropriate language. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent command of English, and a deep understanding of pedagogy for primary and middle school learners.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review academic books and content for Grades 1–7 to ensure alignment with curriculum learning outcomes.
• Check for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency across chapters.
• Ensure content is age-appropriate, engaging, and easy to understand for young learners.
• Verify that the instructional design and learning objectives are accurately reflected in the content.
• Suggest improvements in sentence structure, tone, clarity, and overall flow.
• Collaborate with content writers, SMEs, and editors to maintain high-quality academic standards.
• Identify content gaps, factual errors, or concepts that may require simplification.
• Maintain version control and update documents as per review cycles.
