Alert Management : Define, configure, and respond to alerts for integration failures, performance degradation, and data anomalies.
Health Reporting : Generate and analyze recurring reports on integration health, incident rates, processing times, and platform usage to identify trends and areas for improvement.
2. Performance Tuning and Optimization
Efficiency Improvement : Analyze slow or resource-intensive recipes and jobs. Implement performance tuning strategies, including optimizing query structures, payload sizes, connector configurations, and rate-limiting practices.
Scalability : Ensure integrations are designed and tuned to handle current and projected transaction volumes and peak loads efficiently.
Cost Management : Monitor and manage Workato consumption units, optimizing recipe execution to ensure cost-effective platform usage.
3. Incident Management and Technical Support
Troubleshooting & Debugging : Act as the Tier 2 / 3 escalation point for all production integration issues, performing deep-dive analysis of failed jobs, data errors, and connectivity problems.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) : Conduct thorough RCAs for recurring or critical incidents and implement permanent fixes or process changes to prevent recurrence.
Documentation : Maintain up-to-date runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and a knowledge base for common integration issues.
Collaboration : Work closely with application owners, development teams, and external vendors to resolve cross-system issues.
4. Platform Maintenance and Governance
Environment Management : Assist in maintaining DEV, QA, and PROD Workato environments, including managing access, security, and version control.
Platform Updates : Evaluate and coordinate the testing and deployment of new Workato features and platform updates.
Best Practices : Enforce organizational governance and Workato best practices across all operational recipes.
