The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished and highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to play a critical role in shaping our technology and platforms in the fast-paced world of e-commerce. As a senior individual contributor you will drive architectural excellence set technical standards and solve complex engineering challenges that impact the scale and success of our products.

What Youll Do :

• Drive the execution of complex projects set best-in-class engineering practices and proactively resolve deep technical challenges to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Apply deep technical expertise to design build and optimize highly scalable cloud-based distributed systems. Decompose systems into measurable unit costs and monitor operational metrics to ensure performance and efficiency.
• Lead by example in design and code reviews (Java) ensuring robust and maintainable architectures. Champion quality scalability and cost efficiency at every stage of development.
• Define and instrument key performance indicators set up effective monitoring and alarms and uphold high operational standards across platforms.
• Write clear concise and actionable technical documentation and updates for cross-functional teams across time zones. Author monthly narrative reports supported by engineering and business metrics.
• Serve as a technical mentor to engineers across teams fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth. Guide teams in adopting modern technologies and engineering best practices.
• Influence technical priorities help manage stakeholder expectations and provide transparent updates on delivery status. Serve as a technical consultant to product design and QA counterparts.
• Pa rtner with product design operations and QA to ensure seamless execution and alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
• Exemplify and advocate for a culture of technical excellence continuous improvement and innovation.
