Job Description

Seed Engineering Consultants is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to join our design and engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CAD to BIM conversion , 3D modeling , and MEP coordination , with hands-on experience in Revit and other BIM tools. The role involves producing high-quality BIM models and drawings in alignment with project standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage 3D MEP models (Mechanical & Electrical) from CAD drawings using Revit .

Create and modify parametric families up to LOD 500 as per project specifications.

Perform CAD to BIM conversion efficiently while maintaining accuracy and design intent.

Coordinate and integrate models across disciplines (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Protection).

Prepare installation , coordination , and shop drawings from BIM models.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and design consistency.

Use Navisworks for model review, clash detection, and coordination.

Maintain quality and standards in all BIM deliverables as per company and client guidelines.

Stay updated with industry standards, BIM trends, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BIM modeling (Mechanical and / or Electrical).

Proficient in Revit MEP , AutoCAD , and Navisworks .

Strong understanding of LOD levels , BIM execution plans , and stakeholder requirements .

Familiarity with building services systems — HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Protection .

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, AIA, or BS / EN).

Knowledge of Dynamo or other BIM automation tools is an advantage.

Exposure to clash detection , model coordination meetings , and documentation workflows .
