AI - Staff Engineer

We are looking for a  Staff Engineer  to lead the design, development, and optimization of AI-powered platforms with a strong focus on  Python  ,  API development  , and  AWS AI services  . You will be instrumental in shaping system architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving end-to-end solutions that leverage  NLP  ,  cloud services  , and  modern frontend frameworks  .

As a Staff Engineer, you ll be a key technical leader partnering closely with product, design, and engineering teams to build scalable and intelligent systems.  Key Responsibilities :

• Architect and build scalable, high-performance backend systems using  Python
• Design robust  RESTful APIs  and guide the engineering team on best practices for performance and security
• Leverage  AWS AI / ML services  (e.g., Comprehend, Lex, SageMaker) to build intelligent features and capabilities
• Provide technical leadership on  NLP  solutions using libraries such as  spaCy  ,  transformers  , or  NLTK
• Ensure comprehensive  unit testing  across APIs and databases; advocate for clean, testable code
• Guide the development of full-stack features involving  JavaScript  ,  React  , and  Next.js
• Own and evolve system architecture, ensuring modularity, scalability, and resilience
• Promote strong engineering practices with  Git  ,  Bitbucket  , and CI / CD tooling
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive technical decisions aligned with product goals
• Mentor engineers across levels and foster a culture of technical excellence
