Java Technical Lead

Job Title : Tech Lead Bilingual

Location : PAN India (All GlobalLogic offices)

Mode of working : Hybrid 3 days onsite / week

Role : Fulltime

Required : JLPT N3 or above

Note : Bilingual candidates will be considered only and preference given to someone who can join immediately or within 30 days.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Java lead who blends deep technical expertise with leadership, mentoring, and architectural vision. You'll lead a high-performance team, architect scalable solutions, and ensure delivery of robust systems that meet quality standards. Proficiency in speaking and understanding business Japanese. Ability to fluently conduct business meetings in Japanese

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of enterprise-grade Java applications; serve as both hands-on contributor and team leader.
• Define and implement architectural strategy, including scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with Technical and Product Managers to plan and execute project initiatives effectively.
• Oversee code review processes, enforce engineering best practices, and promote deliverables with high code quality.
• Engage in Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) to foster team collaboration and rapid development cycles.
• Mentor junior developers, guide technical growth, and uphold standard practices.
• Work closely in small agile teams to deliver well-integrated products with proper documentation and reusable components.
