Role Overview

The Quality Manager will independently lead the Quality Assurance (QA) department, ensuring that all Processes, parts and products meet and exceed customer expectations and comply with national and international standards (EN, ISO). This role is critical to maintaining KGEPL’s reputation for excellence and supporting its mission of delivering safe, reliable, and innovative LPG and Natural Gas solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Leadership :

Oversee the QA team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Develop and implement quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.

Compliance & Standards :

Ensure all parts, processes and products comply with applicable EN, ISO, UL, and regulatory requirements.

Liaise with certification bodies and manage audits (internal and external).

Product Excellence :

Monitor and improve product quality across LPG and Natural Gas valves, regulators and other equipment

Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.

Customer Focus :

Ensure products exceed customer expectations in safety, reliability, and performance.

Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate quality into design and manufacturing.

Team Development :

Train and mentor QA staff on best practices and standards.

Build strong cross-functional relationships with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical / industrial engineering or related field.

Minimum 15 years of experience in Quality Assurance within manufacturing / general engineering

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, EN standards, and regulatory compliance.

Experience leading audits and managing certification processes.

SAP / ERP Experience

Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with Assemblies and General Engineering.

Exposure to international quality standards and export compliance.

Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma).
