We require a Structural Engineer to provide structural engineering expertise on projects in India and the Middle East from our office in Navi Mumbai.

Working with a technical team providing specialised services to our clients, this is a great opportunity for a design engineer to gain additional and more senior experience interacting with renowned national and international consultants on exciting projects in India and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Engineer / Associate in preparing concept, preliminary and detail designs.
• Carry out structural design and prepare construction drawings to Indian, British and American Standards.
• Coordinate with architects, building services engineers, and other structural engineers.
• Prepare markups for CAD technicians and check drawings when completed.
• Carry out arithmetical checks and an independent design review of another engineer's design.
• Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of own work and the work of allocated CAD technicians.
• Ensure that allocated works are completed within the programme and allocated budget.
• Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service / design decisions and that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
• Give site backup on technical / design issues, where required.
• Visit sites to address design-related issues as and when required.
• Attend meetings with local authorities, coordination meetings with other departments and Clients as and when required.
• Manage the statutory compliance of an organisation, liaison with local authorities and government bodies.
• Mentor and assist Graduate Engineers
• Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality management.
