We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join a growing technology team building modern, scalable platforms in the regulatory & life-sciences domain. This role offers the opportunity to work in an agile, globally distributed team and contribute to high-impact product architecture and engineering decisions.

You will collaborate closely with engineering leadership and product teams to design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical autonomy, ownership, and solving complex backend challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, build, and deploy scalable microservices and distributed backend systems
• Develop secure, high-performance APIs and backend services
• Own end-to-end development including design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and DevOps
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
• Maintain CI / CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Contribute to architecture documentation and knowledge sharing
• Work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment across time zones
