Creative Design Director

About the Role We're looking for a highly creative and experienced Associate Design Manager to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our flagship events and a wide range of categories at Flipkart. You will lead the design and execution of impactful creative assets, bridging the gap between creative vision, business goals, and technical implementation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design process for key campaigns and events, from concept to final execution.

Mentor and guide a team of designers , providing regular feedback to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams —including product, marketing, and engineering—to develop and implement design strategies that align with business goals.

Ensure all creative assets adhere to brand guidelines while pushing the boundaries of innovative design.

Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and measure the success of projects.

Present design concepts to stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and impact of your work.

Contribute to the evolution of Flipkart’s design systems and processes, advocating for best practices in user experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

2+ years of experience managing designers and design teams.

8+ years of experience designing large-scale E-commerce and brand campaigns

Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and relevant AI tools.

A strong understanding of Visual Design, UI / UX design principles and brand guidelines.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

A strong sense of ownership and a bias for action.

Experience with AI tools, motion graphics, and unique animations is a significant plus.
