What you will do :
Primary Responsibilities
Supporting the whole of Angel Onegroup (which comprises of many financial services businesses) alongwith a team on :
Managing all civil and criminal disputeresolution matters that affect the group.Evaluating alldisputes at thegroup and formingstrategy on disputeresolutions and preparing recommendation memos to the board and the management.Advising on pre-litigation / pre-dispute strategies.Advising on interpretation and impact of applicable laws, circulars and regulatory developmentsManaging all regulatory show-cause notices and regulatory proceedings with effective strategiesManaging LEA notices, complaints and investigations effectivelyWorking on pathways, argumentations, drafting and filings, monitoring and evaluating impact.Drafting, and responding to, legal notices for all disputes as mentioned above.Working withall the groupcompanies to analyzethe nature of disputes and give strategic inputs and analysis on how to proceed over unique or repeated patterndisputes. Working with other departments to mitigate re-occurrence of the dispute events.Working with the legal tech team on litigation management tools.Representing the group in any corporate restructuring matters if appearance is required before any regulatory bodies including NCLT and NCLAT.Working on valuable mediations, conciliations, arbitrations, litigations.Working on high value investor grievances.Who you are :
A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.A minimum of 8-11 years of experience.Has worked on dispute management.Has managed a small team and internal / external stakeholders.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Good to have : Has worked at a reputed law firm for 3 years. CIPP / E qualified.Has an open mind to understand that the role may evolve as per the evolving needs of the growth ofthe group.Fun-loving, kind and tactical.What's in it for You?
