Purchase Expeditor

Summary : The Purchasing Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods to the company and the accuracy of expected date(s) of receipt maintained in the ERP system. They work closely with suppliers to track orders, resolve any issues and keep stakeholders informed of the status of incoming purchase orders.

Main Responsibilities :

• Ensure all purchase orders issued to suppliers have been confirmed and acknowledged.
• Expedite late purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure expected receipt dates in ERP system are updated & accurate.
• Keep stakeholders (buyers) informed of the status of their deliveries and any potential issues with incoming shipments.
