Engineering Manager - MERN Stack

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager with deep expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js ) and hands-on experience in leading pod-based agile teams. You will be responsible for driving engineering excellence, delivering scalable web applications, and mentoring a team of developers in a collaborative, fast-paced :

• Lead and manage cross-functional pods comprising frontend, backend, and QA engineers.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable applications using the MERN stack.
• Oversee code quality, engineering processes, and best development practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and DevOps to deliver product features.
• Ensure on-time delivery of projects by mentoring team members and unblocking challenges.
• Conduct regular 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and professional development for team members.
• Implement agile methodologies with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery.
• Define and monitor engineering KPIs, ensuring a high level of technical :
• 6+ years of software development experience, with strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• 2+ years of proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead.
• Experience managing pods or small, autonomous teams within an agile framework.
• Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, and scalable architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI / CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes is a plus).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
