Freelance Opportunity : SAP SD Consultant (with SD–FICO Integration Expertise)

Role Description

To support SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) processes with strong expertise in SD–FICO integration, ensuring smooth Order-to-Cash operations, accurate financial postings, and cross-module consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and support SAP SD processes (sales orders, deliveries, billing, returns).

Manage pricing procedures, taxes, and condition techniques.

Ensure seamless SD–FICO integration : billing → FI posting, account determination (VKOA), credit management, COPA.

Troubleshoot cross-module issues between SD and FI / CO.

Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and RICEFW objects.

Collaborate with ABAP, Finance, and Business teams.

Conduct unit testing, UAT, cutover preparation, and go-live support.

Handle production support and resolve integration errors.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration (6–12 years).

Deep understanding of SD–FICO integration and financial posting logic.

Expertise in pricing, taxation, billing, account determination, partner functions.

Experience in credit management, ATP, output control, and customer master.

Ability to analyze accounting document errors and integration failures.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Good to Have

SAP S / 4HANA SD experience.

Experience with IDocs, EDI, and output management.

Knowledge of COPA, revenue recognition, or advanced credit management.
