Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead / Manager to drive and manage end-to-end data migration programs for core banking systems. The candidate will lead legacy-to-new application migrations, version upgrades, and client-side transition projects , ensuring accuracy, performance, and regulatory compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end data migration projects for Core Banking Systems (Flexcube, Finacle, TCS BaNCS, T24, OBDX, etc.).
• Define and execute data migration strategy, roadmap, and methodology (ETL, staging, validation, reconciliation).
• Lead requirement analysis, source-to-target mapping, and transformation rules for banking data (customers, accounts, loans, GL, transactions, etc.).
• Manage data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and quality checks to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to design optimal migration solutions.
• Execute mock runs, dress rehearsals, and cut-over planning for go-live.
• Manage migration issue tracking, resolution, and reporting with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and audit requirements .
• Provide leadership to onsite / offshore migration teams , ensuring timelines and quality deliverables.
• Work closely with business users and client stakeholders during UAT, validation, and reconciliation.
• Support post-migration stabilization and performance optimization.
