An Assistant Moulding Incharges responsibilities include supervising a team ensuring production targets and quality standards are met and maintaining equipment and tooling. Key duties involve leading the team in daily operations troubleshooting molding process issues managing resources like manpower and materials and implementing safety and housekeeping standards like 5S.

Production and quality

Supervise daily molding operations to ensure prouction targets are met.

Ensure the quality of manufactured products meets internal and customer standards.

Set up machines and fine-tune parameters to achieve optimal esults.

Handle and troubleshoot problems that arise during production and mould trails.

Plan and schedule production and manage raw material availability.

Team and people management :

Lead mentor and monitor a team of technicians and operators.

Schedule shifts and manage manpower to ensure efficient workflow.

Train and develop team members to improve their skills and efficiency.

Provide guidance and resolve issues to foster a positive and productive team environment.

Ensure team members adhre to safety protocols and shop floor discipline.

Equipment and tooling :

Oversee the maintenance repair and upkeep of moulds and machinary.

Track tooling performance and implement a preventive maintenance plan.

Manage spare parts for tooling and other consumables.

Ensure all equpment tools and materials are readily available.

Reporting and analysis :

Analyze production and quqlity reports to identify root causes of problems.

Document production activities and quality records.

Report daily activities and shift performance to superiors.

Process Improvements :

Implement and promote continuous improvement methodologies like kaizen and lean.

Identify and implement process improvement to increase efficiency reduce waste and lower costs.

Develop and improve mould setup procedures and standards to reduce downtime.
