Lead Legal Specialist

Role Overview : The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end legal and customer contract management for global operations. The role also includes ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage end-to-end drafting, reviewing, and vetting of legal documents, including contracts with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and third parties.

Prepare and draft various legal documents and correspondence, such as resolutions and Powers of Attorney.

Draft, review, and manage lease agreements.

Proofread and edit legal correspondence, reports, and documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.

Maintain organized indexing, filing, and research of legal documents, opinions, court decisions, and related records.

Prepare reports, letters, and other legal documentation as required.

Organize, coordinate, and prioritize day-to-day tasks to support the efficient functioning of the legal and commercial office.

Draft, edit, and format complex correspondence, including responses to legal notices received from employees, vendors, and customers.

Skills & Competencies :

Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in the context of legal documentation and correspondence.

Ability to evaluate work methods, improve efficiency, and perform effectively under pressure.

Clear and structured thinking with flexibility and adaptability to dynamic work schedules.

Effective time management, analytical thinking, and the confidence to handle complex legal matters independently

Preferred candidate profile :

1. Full time BA.LLB (Hons) / BBA.LLB (Hons) / LLB degree from a reputed college / university.

2. 2-3 years of relevant work experience in contracts drafting, vetting and commercial contracts management preferably within IT or technology-based organizations.
