Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Area Sales Manager – Projects to drive business development for our Hospital Infrastructure and Medical Technology Solutions in the private healthcare segment. The portfolio includes Pneumatic Tube Systems, Nurse Call Systems, OR Integration, and Medical Device Integration.
The role involves high-engagement project sales to private hospitals, diagnostics chains, and healthcare developers, working closely with biomedical teams, hospital management, consultants, and turnkey contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy focused on upcoming and ongoing hospital infrastructure projects
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers including biomedical engineers, hospital administrators, and procurement heads
- Build strong working relationships with design consultants, MEP planners, and infrastructure contractors to influence solution specifications
- Present technical solutions and product value propositions clearly through demos and client meetings
- Work internally with solution architects and pricing teams to create proposals, BOQs, and AutoCAD-based layouts
- Manage the sales cycle end-to-end — from lead generation and engagement to proposal, negotiation, and closure
- Support handover to service and execution teams for successful project delivery
- Stay updated on competitor offerings, pricing trends, and new healthcare infrastructure developments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA is an added advantage5–8 years of B2B sales experience in healthcare infrastructure, capital equipment, or hospital projectsStrong familiarity with private hospitals, diagnostic chains, and healthcare developersWorking knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory for reading, understanding, and marking project layoutsExposure to healthcare IT systems (PACS, HIS) and basic understanding of networking infrastructure is a plusExcellent presentation and communication skills for engaging with CXOs and technical stakeholdersStrong ownership mindset, proactive approach, and ability to manage a sales pipeline independentlyWillingness to travel extensively (70–80%) within assigned territoryJob Title : Area Sales Manager – Projects
