Systems Administrator

We are seeking a proactive Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of servers, networks, and systems, supporting both internal teams and customer-facing applications..

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems.

Monitor system performance, availability, and security; troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

Implement backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.

Maintain system documentation, including configuration, procedures, and updates.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to deploy applications and updates.

Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.

Automate routine tasks using scripting or configuration management tools.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, and VPNs.

Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Understanding of monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).

Experience managing SaaS, PaaS, or hybrid cloud environments.

IT certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+, or RHCE.
