Job description7–10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a technical leadership role. Strong expertise in backend development (Node.Js, Python, Java, or similar). Experience with AI / ML technologies : LLMs, embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) Model integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, etc.) Prompt engineering and agent frameworks Experience in frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) is a plus. Solid cloud experience with AWS / Azure. Strong understanding of DevOps pipelines, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI / CD. Experience building scalable SaaS products. Ability to work independently in an environment without an existing IT structure. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership & Architecture
- Define the technical architecture for the AI product and supporting systems.
- Make key decisions on tech stack, cloud infrastructure, security, scalability, and integration patterns.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, CI / CD, and DevOps.
- Hands-on Development
- Develop core backend / frontend modules of the product.
- Build and integrate AI / ML components with APIs, data pipelines, and production workflows.
- Perform code reviews, implement quality standards, and ensure robust documentation.
- AI & Data Engineering
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists (internal or external partners).
- Implement model integrations, vector databases, embedding pipelines, and agent workflows.
- Oversee data ingestion, data cleaning, data governance, and storage infrastructure.
