What will you do Day-to-Day
- Collecting accurately financial transactions data and documents such as revenue, purchases, payments, and receipts, Classifying, storing records / bills physical and in the cloud.
- Books are maintained in Business Central : Perform accounting with detailed records, Passing financial transactions, such as revenue, purchases, payments, and receipts.
- Post transactions : Transfer the information from the journal to the appropriate account in the General Ledger.
- Reconcile the statements : with bank and credit card statements with accounting records to ensure that all transactions are matched and accurate.
- Reconcile accounts : Reconcile the account balances in the General Ledger with the bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Internal : Co-ordinating with internal department for data collection for bookkeeping.
- Assisting in month end books closing, report preparation, monthly intercompany invoice preparation.
- Updating variance and other trackers for reporting, collating of supporting documentations for MIS.
- Assist in creating ageing reports.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
- Weekly Payments : Prepare the payables statement on weekly basis, obtaining the approvals and tracking the payments till bank approvals.
- Supporting in Outward remittance payment inputting.
- Monthly TDS calculation reports and payments, Quarterly E-TDS reports / filings
- Assisting in Advance tax calculations and any others.
- Assist in Monthly GST reconciliation and reports, Filing of GST returns GSTR-1 and 3B.
- Co-ordinating with external consultants for GST annual return filing, GST Refund process
- Assisting with all other statutory returns like EPFO, STPI and others.
What are we looking for in you
Experience : 8+ years in Accounts and bookkeeping. Previous experience of working in small finance teams is preferred.Excellent knowledge of Business Central is mandatory.Excel proficiency - Intermediate level.Knowledge of India accounting principlesTechnical Skills : experience in QuickBooks / Zoho Books / tally.Communication : Good command of English, both written and verbal, adapted to diverse business needs.Organization : Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Professionalism : Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, Team Player
