Description :

Looking for a Sr DevOps / Cloud Engineer with 5 – 8 years of

relevant experience.

This individual will work for the Enterprise Solutions Group under the DevOps team in

implementing and supporting DevOps / Cloud solutions.

Job Responsibilities :

 Translates loosely defined requirements into solutions.

 Provides direct and responsive support for internal and client needs.

 Hands on work experience with cloud infrastructures utilizing Amazon Web Services

including core services EC2, S3, Glacier, Auto Scaling Groups, ELB, EBS, ECS,

CloudFormation and Database services RDS, Elastic Search and application layer

services like API Gateway, Lambda and network layer services like VPC and its sub

components and Security layers services like IAM, Cloud trail, Cloud watch, KMS and

Integration layer Services like Kinesis, SNS, SQS, Route53 and Orchestrated application

workflows using AWS Faregate, EKS, Terraform

 Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom

workflow.

 Good knowledge of cloud computing delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and

deployment models related to Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud service

 Provide hands-on, prototypes, and implementations incorporating cloud engineering best

practices, develop technical content like white paper etc.

 Handle presales technical calls and demos

 Participate in architecture and software development activities.

 Use open-source / propriety technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases

encountered within the project.

 Collaborate with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a

complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.

 Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower

and time necessary

 Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure

 Experience with SCM tools like Bitbucket, GitHub or Gitlab

 Create and maintain pipelines

 Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible

 Work experience with AWS cloud security or security of application or environment

 Work closely with DevOps engineers / cloud engineers for implementation of solutions

Qualifications / Skills :

 Strong knowledge and practical experience with AWS

 Strong programming skills with experience in Webhook and API development using

Python, Shell, and PowerShell

 Good knowledge of modern cloud application architecture

 Exposure to cloud managed services and microservices like Function as a Service,

Containers, and managed databases

 Strong automation development skills. Needs to be proficient in Terraform.

 Good understanding of ML, data analysis, data visualization, and event-driven

architecture

 Familiarity working with large systems

 Expertise with container orchestration services on Docker and Kubernetes

 Knowledge of Git operations and experience administering any Git application

 Good knowledge and working experience on Linux. Knowledge on Windows would be a

plus.

 Expertise in creating, supporting and troubleshooting pipelines

 Working knowledge of databases and SQL

 Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service

 Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

 Process-oriented with great documentation skills

 Knowledge of best practices and IT operations

 Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies

 Capable of working under tight deadlines

 Knowledge on Azure cloud would be a plus

 BS in Computer Science, IT, BCA, BE or equivalent area of technical study
