Job Title : Data Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)

Location : Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite (Pune, Bangalore, Noida, Mumbai, Hyderabad)

Work Timings : 11 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 PM IST (Flexibility required for 4-hour overlap with US business hours)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Engineer with 6-10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and big data technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Spark SQL, and be capable of working in a dynamic, hybrid work environment. Flexibility to work with teams across global time zones, especially with a 4-hour overlap with US business hours, is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Develop efficient, high-quality code in Python for data transformation and processing tasks.
• Create and manage complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and product teams to ensure alignment of data engineering solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are implemented.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve issues proactively.
• Support production deployments, performance tuning, and maintenance activities.
