Job Purpose :
- The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for ensuring the consistent application of Human Resources policies and procedures within the organization and for advising and counseling managers and staff on employment related matters.
- Plays a critical role in fostering a positive work environment, promoting employee satisfaction, and mitigating conflict.
- Performs and carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas : employee relations, training, employment law, company policy, and all federal / state / local regulations under the direction of the Director, Human Resources.
Duties And Responsibilities :
Facilitate employee relations issues as needed.Counsel employees, leaders and other stakeholders as needed.Ensuring the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.Partnering with senior business stakeholders and HR teams to develop and implement Employee Relations best practices and programs.Handling employee complaints, progressive disciplinary process, performance improvement plans, investigations, and terminations.Investigating and resolving complex or critical employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.Manage the introductory and annual performance evaluation process.Actively participate in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures.Participate in supervisory / management skills development and organizational learning & development programs.Manage the HR&P, Performance and Learning modules of the HRIS system.Collecting and analyzing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising organizational programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.Participating in and / or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.Supervise HR Generalists and Business Partners.Performs other duties as requested.Use, protect and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred.Minimum 10 years' experience in the Human Resources Generalist role and 5 years in a Human Resources Manager role.In-depth knowledge of employment law.Proficiency with MS Office.Exemplary interpersonal skills.Must be able to work well individually and in a team environment.Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Highly organized and able to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Working Conditions :
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear.
Mental Demands : The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress.
Work Environment : The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
