Senior System Engineer - AWS

Job Description :

• AWS Expertise.
• Define infrastructure strategy and plan, which includes hardware, networking and software (OS, Application, security, monitoring.) on AWS Cloud.
• Continuous monitoring and optimization of resources on the cloud platform, Infrastructure sizing for the application.
• Disaster planning - hot switching, cold switching, backup & restore.
• Implementing system and application audit processes.
• Writing shell scripts to accomplish sys admin tasks (Templates, Cloud formation,)
• Setup and maintain Linux, Unix OS based servers, configure hardware and software based firewall.
• Setup, configure and maintain database (MySQL, Oracle, Mongo DB), Setup, configure and lead web / app servers - Apache, NGINX, IIS.
• Performance tune web / app servers.
• Setup, configure and maintain DB and webserver clustering.
• Automate network, DB, webserver / app server monitoring & alert configuration.
• As required, setup and configure SMTP, DNS, SSL, SFTP.
• Tackle webserver, DB, network issues related to fault, performance, security.
• Implement or deploy any software libraries or dependencies you may need during the course of your work.
