What Role Will You Play?
As a Functional Consultant, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the product / technical teams. You will be responsible for assessing current business processes, identifying gaps, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of HRMS modules across client environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, and system setups to create comprehensive “AS-IS” process documentation.
- Conduct process mapping and GAP analysis across HR modules.
- Design “TO-BE” workflows and collaborate with technical teams for solution configuration.
- Develop detailed test scripts and support System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, and other client-specific testing cycles.
- Create end-user manuals , training materials, and deliver user training sessions.
- Manage client expectations, handle functional queries, and ensure smooth implementation and adoption of HRMS modules.
- Regularly update project progress to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required
Strong functional knowledge of the HR domain (HRIS, Leave, Attendance, Payroll, BRE, Travel, Exit, Onboarding).Proven experience in implementing at least one HRMS / HR Tech product end-to-end.Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations and work with cross-functional teams.Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience executing complex implementation projects.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in client-facing functional consulting roles in HR Tech.Ability to create process flows, functional specifications, and training documentation.Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
