Role Overview :
We’re looking for a high-performing BDM who understands the Shopify ecosystem , stays updated with emerging AI trends, and can build strong relationships with founders and e-commerce teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new clients for Shopify development, theme builds, CRO, and technical retainers.
- Sell AI-powered solutions : personalization, automation, chatbots, predictive analytics.
- Run the full sales cycle : prospecting → discovery → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Conduct discovery sessions, build proposals / SOWs, and translate requirements into actionable scopes.
- Stay updated on Shopify + AI features and educate prospects on emerging capabilities.
- Build partnerships with Shopify app partners, AI tool providers, and e-commerce communities.
Requirements
2–5+ years in Business Development / Sales (Agency, SaaS, or E-commerce Tech).Strong understanding of Shopify (themes, custom apps, checkout, performance, headless).Working knowledge of AI tools / workflows (LLMs, automation, recommendations, etc.).Proven track record of closing mid to high value deals (USD 5k–50k+)Excellent communication and consultative selling skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Good to Have
Experience selling retainers or technical services.Background in Shopify agencies or e-commerce SaaS.Familiarity with tools like Klaviyo, Rebuy, Gorgias, Make / Zapier, etc.What We Offer
