Senior Automation Test Engineer

Description :

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 8-13 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing automated test strategies to ensure the quality of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and enhance our testing processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand system requirements and design effective test scenarios.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test automation best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation environments and scripts.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to automation processes, tools, and test scripts.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • 8-13 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
  • Strong knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for scripting automation tests.
  • Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
